La parte que tocó en suerte a la tribu de los hijos de Judá, conforme a sus familias, llegaba hasta la frontera de Edom, teniendo el desierto de Zin al sur como extremo meridional. 2. Y su límite por el lado del sur fue desde la costa del Mar Salado, desde la bahía que mira hacia el sur; 3. y salía hacia el sur de la subida de Acrabim, pasando hasta Zin; y subiendo por el sur hasta Cades-barnea, pasaba a Hezrón, y subiendo por Adar daba vuelta a Carca. 4. De allí pasaba a Asmón, y salía al arroyo de Egipto, y terminaba en el mar. Este, pues, os será el límite del sur. 5. El límite oriental es el Mar Salado hasta la desembocadura del Jordán. Y el límite del lado del norte, desde la bahía del mar en la desembocadura del Jordán; 6. y sube este límite por Bet-hogla, y pasa al norte de Bet-arabá, y de aquí sube a la piedra de Bohán hijo de Rubén. 7. Luego sube a Debir desde el valle de Acor; y al norte mira sobre Gilgal, que está enfrente de la subida de Adumín, que está al sur del arroyo; y pasa hasta las aguas de En-semes, y sale a la fuente de Rogel. 8. Y sube este límite por el valle del hijo de Hinom al lado sur del jebuseo, que es Jerusalén. Luego sube por la cumbre del monte que está enfrente del valle de Hinom hacia el occidente, el cual está al extremo del valle de Refaim, por el lado del norte. 9. Y rodea este límite desde la cumbre del monte hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa, y sale a las ciudades del monte de Efrón, rodeando luego a Baala, que es Quiriat-jearim. 10. Después gira este límite desde Baala hacia el occidente al monte de Seir; y pasa al lado del monte de Jearim hacia el norte, el cual es Quesalón, y desciende a Bet-semes, y pasa a Timna. 11. Sale luego al lado de Ecrón hacia el norte; y rodea a Sicrón, y pasa por el monte de Baala, y sale a Jabneel y termina en el mar. 12. El límite del occidente es el Mar Grande. Este fue el límite de los hijos de Judá, por todo el contorno, conforme a sus familias. Caleb conquista Hebrón y Debir (Jue. 1.10-15) 13. Mas a Caleb hijo de Jefone dio su parte entre los hijos de Judá, conforme al mandamiento de Jehová a Josué; la ciudad de Quiriat-arba padre de Anac, que es Hebrón. 14. Y dijo Caleb: Al que atacare a Quiriat-sefer, y la tomare, yo le daré a mi hija Acsa por mujer. 17. Y la tomó Otoniel, hijo de Cenaz hermano de Caleb; y él le dio a su hija Acsa por mujer. 18. Y aconteció que cuando la llevaba, él la persuadió que pidiese a su padre tierras para labrar. Ella entonces se bajó del asno. Y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué tienes? 19. Eltolad, Quesil, Horma, 31. Siclag, Madmana, Sansana, 32. Lebaot, Silhim, Aín y Rimón; por todas veintinueve ciudades con sus aldeas. 33. En las llanuras, Estaol, Zora, Asena, 34. Zanoa, En-ganim, Tapúa, Enam, 35. Jarmut, Adulam, Soco, Azeca, 36. Saaraim, Aditaim, Gedera y Gederotaim; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas. 37. Zenán, Hadasa, Migdal-gad, 38. Dileán, Mizpa, Jocteel, 39. Laquis, Boscat, Eglón, 40. Cabón, Lahmam, Quitlis, 41. Gederot, Bet-dagón, Naama y Maceda; dieciséis ciudades con sus aldeas. 42. Libna, Eter, Asán, 43. Jifta, Asena, Nezib, 44. Keila, Aczib y Maresa; nueve ciudades con sus aldeas. 45. Ecrón con sus villas y sus aldeas. 46. Desde Ecrón hasta el mar, todas las que están cerca de Asdod con sus aldeas. 47. Asdod con sus villas y sus aldeas; Gaza con sus villas y sus aldeas hasta el río de Egipto, y el Mar Grande con sus costas. 48. Y en las montañas, Samir, Jatir, Soco, 49. The allotment for the tribe of the people of Judah according to their clans reached southward to the boundary of Edom, to the wilderness of Zin at the farthest south. 2. And their south boundary ran from the end of the Salt Sea, from the bay that faces southward. 3. It goes out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, passes along to Zin, and goes up south of Kadesh-barnea, along by Hezron, up to Addar, turns about to Karka, 4. passes along to Azmon, goes out by the Brook of Egypt, and comes to its end at the sea. This shall be your south boundary. 5. And the east boundary is the Salt Sea, to the mouth of the Jordan. And the boundary on the north side runs from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan. 6. And the boundary goes up to Beth-hoglah and passes along north of Beth-arabah. And the boundary goes up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben. 7. And the boundary goes up to Debir from the Valley of Achor, and so northward, turning toward Gilgal, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley. And the boundary passes along to the waters of En-shemesh and ends at En-rogel. 8. Then the boundary goes up by the Valley of the Son of Hinnom at the southern shoulder of the Jebusite (that is, Jerusalem). And the boundary goes up to the top of the mountain that lies over against the Valley of Hinnom, on the west, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim. 9. Then the boundary extends from the top of the mountain to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and from there to the cities of Mount Ephron. Then the boundary bends around to Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim). 10. And the boundary circles west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passes along to the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), and goes down to Beth-shemesh and passes along by Timnah. 11. The boundary goes out to the shoulder of the hill north of Ekron, then the boundary bends around to Shikkeron and passes along to Mount Baalah and goes out to Jabneel. Then the boundary comes to an end at the sea. 12. And the west boundary was the Great Sea with its coastline. This is the boundary around the people of Judah according to their clans. 13. According to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, he gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the people of Judah, Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron (Arba was the father of Anak). 14. And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the descendants of Anak. 15. And he went up from there against the inhabitants of Debir. Now the name of Debir formerly was Kiriath-sepher. 16. And Caleb said, “Whoever strikes Kiriath-sepher and captures it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter as wife.” 17. And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it. And he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife. 18. When she came to him, she urged him to ask her father for a field. And she got off her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you want?” 19. She said to him, “Give me a blessing. Since you have given me the land of the Negeb, give me also springs of water.” And he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs. 20. This is the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Judah according to their clans. 21. The cities belonging to the tribe of the people of Judah in the extreme south, toward the boundary of Edom, were Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur, 22. Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah, 23. Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan, 24. Ziph, Telem, Bealoth, 25. Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor), 26. Amam, Shema, Moladah, 27. Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet, 28. Hazar-shual, Beersheba, Biziothiah, 29. Baalah, Iim, Ezem, 30. Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah, 31. Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah, 32. Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon: in all, twenty-nine cities with their villages. 33. And in the lowland, Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah, 34. Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam, 35. Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah, 36. Shaaraim, Adithaim, Gederah, Gederothaim: fourteen cities with their villages. 37. Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad, 38. Dilean, Mizpeh, Joktheel, 39. Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon, 40. Cabbon, Lahmam, Chitlish, 41. Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteen cities with their villages. 42. Libnah, Ether, Ashan, 43. Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib, 44. Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages. 45. Ekron, with its towns and its villages; 46. from Ekron to the sea, all that were by the side of Ashdod, with their villages. 47. Ashdod, its towns and its villages; Gaza, its towns and its villages; to the Brook of Egypt, and the Great Sea with its coastline. 48. And in the hill country, Shamir, Jattir, Socoh, 49. Dannah, Kiriath-sannah (that is, Debir), 50. Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim, 51. Goshen, Holon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages. 52. Arab, Dumah, Eshan, 53. Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah, 54. Humtah, Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), and Zior: nine cities with their villages. 55. Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah, 56. Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah, 57. Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages. 58. Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor, 59. Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their villages. 60. Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah: two cities with their villages. 61. In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah, 62. Nibshan, the City of Salt, and Engedi: six cities with their villages. 63. But the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the people of Judah could not drive out, so the Jebusites dwell with the people of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.

제 15 장

유다 자손의 땅

61 광야에는 벧 아라바와 밋딘과 스가가와

62 닙산과 소금 성읍과 엔 게디니 여섯 성읍과 그 마을들이었더라

63 예루살렘 주민 여부스 족속을 유다 자손이 쫓아내지 못하였으므로 여부스 족속이 오늘까지 유다 자손과 함께 예루살렘에 거주하니라

El territorio de Judá

La parte que tocó en suerte a la tribu de los hijos de Judá, conforme a sus familias, llegaba hasta la frontera de Edom, teniendo el desierto de Zin al sur como extremo meridional.
Y su límite por el lado del sur fue desde la costa del Mar Salado, desde la bahía que mira hacia el sur;
y salía hacia el sur de la subida de Acrabim, pasando hasta Zin; y subiendo por el sur hasta Cades-barnea, pasaba a Hezrón, y subiendo por Adar daba vuelta a Carca.
De allí pasaba a Asmón, y salía al arroyo de Egipto, y terminaba en el mar. Este, pues, os será el límite del sur.
El límite oriental es el Mar Salado hasta la desembocadura del Jordán. Y el límite del lado del norte, desde la bahía del mar en la desembocadura del Jordán;
y sube este límite por Bet-hogla, y pasa al norte de Bet-arabá, y de aquí sube a la piedra de Bohán hijo de Rubén.
Luego sube a Debir desde el valle de Acor; y al norte mira sobre Gilgal, que está enfrente de la subida de Adumín, que está al sur del arroyo; y pasa hasta las aguas de En-semes, y sale a la fuente de Rogel.
Y sube este límite por el valle del hijo de Hinom al lado sur del jebuseo, que es Jerusalén. Luego sube por la cumbre del monte que está enfrente del valle de Hinom hacia el occidente, el cual está al extremo del valle de Refaim, por el lado del norte.
Y rodea este límite desde la cumbre del monte hasta la fuente de las aguas de Neftoa, y sale a las ciudades del monte de Efrón, rodeando luego a Baala, que es Quiriat-jearim.
Después gira este límite desde Baala hacia el occidente al monte de Seir; y pasa al lado del monte de Jearim hacia el norte, el cual es Quesalón, y desciende a Bet-semes, y pasa a Timna.
Sale luego al lado de Ecrón hacia el norte; y rodea a Sicrón, y pasa por el monte de Baala, y sale a Jabneel y termina en el mar.
El límite del occidente es el Mar Grande. Este fue el límite de los hijos de Judá, por todo el contorno, conforme a sus familias.

Caleb conquista Hebrón y Debir
(Jue. 1.10-15)
Mas a Caleb hijo de Jefone dio su parte entre los hijos de Judá, conforme al mandamiento de Jehová a Josué; la ciudad de Quiriat-arba padre de Anac, que es Hebrón.
Y Caleb echó de allí a los tres hijos de Anac, a Sesai, Ahimán y Talmai, hijos de Anac.
De aquí subió contra los que moraban en Debir; y el nombre de Debir era antes Quiriat-sefer.
Y dijo Caleb: Al que atacare a Quiriat-sefer, y la tomare, yo le daré a mi hija Acsa por mujer.
Y la tomó Otoniel, hijo de Cenaz hermano de Caleb; y él le dio a su hija Acsa por mujer.
Y aconteció que cuando la llevaba, él la persuadió que pidiese a su padre tierras para labrar. Ella entonces se bajó del asno. Y Caleb le dijo: ¿Qué tienes?
Y ella respondió: Concédeme un don; puesto que me has dado tierra del Neguev, dame también fuentes de aguas. Él entonces le dio las fuentes de arriba, y las de abajo.

Hazar-gada, Hesmón, Bet-pelet,
Hazar-sual, Beerseba, Bizotia,
Baala, Iim, Esem,
Eltolad, Quesil, Horma,
Siclag, Madmana, Sansana,
Lebaot, Silhim, Aín y Rimón; por todas veintinueve ciudades con sus aldeas.
En las llanuras, Estaol, Zora, Asena,
Zanoa, En-ganim, Tapúa, Enam,
Jarmut, Adulam, Soco, Azeca,
Saaraim, Aditaim, Gedera y Gederotaim; catorce ciudades con sus aldeas.
Zenán, Hadasa, Migdal-gad,
Dileán, Mizpa, Jocteel,
Laquis, Boscat, Eglón,
Cabón, Lahmam, Quitlis,
Gederot, Bet-dagón, Naama y Maceda; dieciséis ciudades con sus aldeas.
Libna, Eter, Asán,
Jifta, Asena, Nezib,
Keila, Aczib y Maresa; nueve ciudades con sus aldeas.
Ecrón con sus villas y sus aldeas.
Desde Ecrón hasta el mar, todas las que están cerca de Asdod con sus aldeas.
Asdod con sus villas y sus aldeas; Gaza con sus villas y sus aldeas hasta el río de Egipto, y el Mar Grande con sus costas.
Y en las montañas, Samir, Jatir, Soco,
Dana, Quiriat-sana (que es Debir);
Anab, Estemoa, Anim,
Gosén, Holón y Gilo; once ciudades con sus aldeas.
Arab, Duma, Esán,
Janum, Bet-tapúa, Afeca,
Humta, Quiriat-arba (la cual es Hebrón) y Sior; nueve ciudades con sus aldeas.
Maón, Carmel, Zif, Juta,
Jezreel, Jocdeam, Zanoa,
Caín, Gabaa y Timna; diez ciudades con sus aldeas.
Halhul, Bet-sur, Gedor,
Maarat, Bet-anot y Eltecón; seis ciudades con sus aldeas.

Mas a los jebuseos que habitaban en Jerusalén, los hijos de Judá no pudieron arrojarlos; y ha quedado el jebuseo en Jerusalén con los hijos de Judá hasta hoy.

The Allotment for Judah

The allotment for the tribe of the people of Judah according to their clans reached southward to the boundary of Edom, to the wilderness of Zin at the farthest south.
And their south boundary ran from the end of the Salt Sea, from the bay that faces southward.
It goes out southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, passes along to Zin, and goes up south of Kadesh-barnea, along by Hezron, up to Addar, turns about to Karka,
passes along to Azmon, goes out by the Brook of Egypt, and comes to its end at the sea. This shall be your south boundary.
And the east boundary is the Salt Sea, to the mouth of the Jordan. And the boundary on the north side runs from the bay of the sea at the mouth of the Jordan.
And the boundary goes up to Beth-hoglah and passes along north of Beth-arabah. And the boundary goes up to the stone of Bohan the son of Reuben.
And the boundary goes up to Debir from the Valley of Achor, and so northward, turning toward Gilgal, which is opposite the ascent of Adummim, which is on the south side of the valley. And the boundary passes along to the waters of En-shemesh and ends at En-rogel.
Then the boundary goes up by the Valley of the Son of Hinnom at the southern shoulder of the Jebusite (that is, Jerusalem). And the boundary goes up to the top of the mountain that lies over against the Valley of Hinnom, on the west, at the northern end of the Valley of Rephaim.
Then the boundary extends from the top of the mountain to the spring of the waters of Nephtoah, and from there to the cities of Mount Ephron. Then the boundary bends around to Baalah (that is, Kiriath-jearim).
And the boundary circles west of Baalah to Mount Seir, passes along to the northern shoulder of Mount Jearim (that is, Chesalon), and goes down to Beth-shemesh and passes along by Timnah.
The boundary goes out to the shoulder of the hill north of Ekron, then the boundary bends around to Shikkeron and passes along to Mount Baalah and goes out to Jabneel. Then the boundary comes to an end at the sea.
And the west boundary was the Great Sea with its coastline. This is the boundary around the people of Judah according to their clans.
According to the commandment of the Lord to Joshua, he gave to Caleb the son of Jephunneh a portion among the people of Judah, Kiriath-arba, that is, Hebron (Arba was the father of Anak).
And Caleb drove out from there the three sons of Anak, Sheshai and Ahiman and Talmai, the descendants of Anak.
And he went up from there against the inhabitants of Debir. Now the name of Debir formerly was Kiriath-sepher.
And Caleb said, “Whoever strikes Kiriath-sepher and captures it, to him will I give Achsah my daughter as wife.”
And Othniel the son of Kenaz, the brother of Caleb, captured it. And he gave him Achsah his daughter as wife.
When she came to him, she urged him to ask her father for a field. And she got off her donkey, and Caleb said to her, “What do you want?”
She said to him, “Give me a blessing. Since you have given me the land of the Negeb, give me also springs of water.” And he gave her the upper springs and the lower springs.
This is the inheritance of the tribe of the people of Judah according to their clans.
The cities belonging to the tribe of the people of Judah in the extreme south, toward the boundary of Edom, were Kabzeel, Eder, Jagur,
Kinah, Dimonah, Adadah,
Kedesh, Hazor, Ithnan,
Ziph, Telem, Bealoth,
Hazor-hadattah, Kerioth-hezron (that is, Hazor),
Amam, Shema, Moladah,
Hazar-gaddah, Heshmon, Beth-pelet,
Hazar-shual, Beersheba, Biziothiah,
Baalah, Iim, Ezem,
Eltolad, Chesil, Hormah,
Ziklag, Madmannah, Sansannah,
Lebaoth, Shilhim, Ain, and Rimmon: in all, twenty-nine cities with their villages.
And in the lowland, Eshtaol, Zorah, Ashnah,
Zanoah, En-gannim, Tappuah, Enam,
Jarmuth, Adullam, Socoh, Azekah,
Shaaraim, Adithaim, Gederah, Gederothaim: fourteen cities with their villages.
Zenan, Hadashah, Migdal-gad,
Dilean, Mizpeh, Joktheel,
Lachish, Bozkath, Eglon,
Cabbon, Lahmam, Chitlish,
Gederoth, Beth-dagon, Naamah, and Makkedah: sixteen cities with their villages.
Libnah, Ether, Ashan,
Iphtah, Ashnah, Nezib,
Keilah, Achzib, and Mareshah: nine cities with their villages.
Ekron, with its towns and its villages;
from Ekron to the sea, all that were by the side of Ashdod, with their villages.
Ashdod, its towns and its villages; Gaza, its towns and its villages; to the Brook of Egypt, and the Great Sea with its coastline.
And in the hill country, Shamir, Jattir, Socoh,
Dannah, Kiriath-sannah (that is, Debir),
Anab, Eshtemoh, Anim,
Goshen, Holon, and Giloh: eleven cities with their villages.
Arab, Dumah, Eshan,
Janim, Beth-tappuah, Aphekah,
Humtah, Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), and Zior: nine cities with their villages.
Maon, Carmel, Ziph, Juttah,
Jezreel, Jokdeam, Zanoah,
Kain, Gibeah, and Timnah: ten cities with their villages.
Halhul, Beth-zur, Gedor,
Maarath, Beth-anoth, and Eltekon: six cities with their villages.
Kiriath-baal (that is, Kiriath-jearim), and Rabbah: two cities with their villages.
In the wilderness, Beth-arabah, Middin, Secacah,
Nibshan, the City of Salt, and Engedi: six cities with their villages.
But the Jebusites, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the people of Judah could not drive out, so the Jebusites dwell with the people of Judah at Jerusalem to this day.
